I filed bankruptcy in sep 2005, I have been reviewing my credit report and it does show my accounts as “debt included in bankruptcy” but it still shows credit limt/ orginal amount and it shows what the amount was, are they suppose to show that amount or is is supposed to be zero out or what??? and my other question is how long does that discharge debt say on there is it from the date i filed bankruptcy or from when the account was first opened?

Ignore the stupid advice on Project Payday.
You can dispute it on the credit report if it was discharged. Sounds like a clerical error.
I’d dispute everything negative after it is 3 or more years old. Most companies archive files after that time, and can’t get information back to the credit bureau within the 30 day time frame limit required by federal law.
Do a Google search on “FCRA” or Fair Credit Reporting Act. You can fix your own credit for free, if you’re willing to do the letter writing and invest the time. Most people don’t know this.
